When Sin Masquerades As Style

The Church stands at a perilous crossroads, and the time for leniency has passed. Compromise within leadership is no longer abstract—it is deadly. Courtney Copeland Acuna, granddaughter of Kenneth Copeland and Chief Marketing Officer of Kenneth Copeland Ministries, has openly promoted astrology while representing a ministry that claims to preach the uncompromised Word of God. Despite repeated reports of these activities, the ministry has failed to correct them, revealing a spiritual blindness that endangers the faith of the younger generation and invites God’s judgment (Acuna, 2026a; Acuna, 2026b). A former Bible study leader from Eagle Mountain International Church and Kenneth Copeland Ministries whom I contacted about these issues told me to “mind my business,” which only revealed how spiritually foolish, wicked, immoral, corrupt, and rotten Kenneth Copeland Ministries and its leaders have become.

Courtney Copeland Acuna hosts a podcast titled Gone Rogue on Patreon, where she and her co-host discuss astrology and sexually explicit content. The Word of God is unyielding in its condemnation of such practices. Scripture declares, “There shall not be found among you any one that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch… For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD” (Deuteronomy 18:10–12, KJV). Astrology, divination, and sorcery are not mere curiosities or harmless diversions—they are abominations. The Lord further commands, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live” (Exodus 22:18, KJV), emphasizing that spiritual rebellion through these practices is a matter of life and death. Observing the stars or assigning power to celestial bodies, as Scripture warns, is forbidden: “And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven” (Deuteronomy 4:19, KJV). Worship or reliance on created things over the Creator is idolatry, and those who normalize it within the church invite the wrath of God.

The biblical account of Eli and his sons demonstrates the consequences of tolerating sin in leadership: “For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not” (1 Samuel 3:13, KJV). Leaders who ignore wrongdoing are complicit in that wrongdoing, and judgment is inevitable. God begins with His own house; those who allow compromise in the Church are the first to face His righteous wrath. The Apostle Paul commands, “Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them” (Ephesians 5:11, KJV), and warns that God is not mocked: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7, KJV). Every act of tolerance, every unchallenged sin, sows seeds of destruction, and those who reap them will face the consequences.

The time for discernment is urgent. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1, KJV). Christians must test the teachings and practices of leaders against the Word of God, for failure to do so exposes the Church to deception and collapse. The consequences of compromise are already visible. Gloria Copeland, once renowned for her healing ministry, now suffers health challenges. Her enemies mock what they once feared, showing that spiritual compromise produces tangible suffering. The door opened by tolerance of astrology and sexual immorality does not merely corrupt doctrine—it manifests in the lives of those involved.

Courtney Copeland Acuna surrounds herself with those who are spiritually compromised. Her co-host openly identifies both herself and Courtney as Aries in a Substack article, demonstrating engagement with astrology (Burke, 2026) (https://kenzieburke.substack.com/p/clarity-creativity-and-i-never-took). Furthermore, Yanina Oyarzo, a friend of Courtney, identifies herself as a Taurus in the YouTube video The Truth About the Copelands: Faith, Fame & Misconceptions with Courtney Copeland Acuña (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d1V_q7Y1ZtA&t=106), proving that Courtney surrounds herself with Christians who tolerate sin, thereby normalizing compromise.

I, Osaromwenyeke King Osemwota, have taken a solemn vow before God: I will never step foot into Kenneth Copeland Ministries, nor partner with them financially or otherwise, until they publicly acknowledge their error, renounce the promotion of astrology, and repent for the compromise they have allowed. I formally ceased my partnership with them and informed their leadership of the compromise, yet they took no corrective action. I also communicated to them the existence and binding nature of this vow. This vow is righteous and binding before God, and my support will never fund practices condemned by His Word. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14, KJV).

This is a final and unwavering warning to the Church. Ministries and leaders must uphold the authority of Scripture, immediately correct unbiblical practices, and protect the younger generation from exposure to false teachings. Delay is complicity; compromise is death. Those who persist in error do so at their peril. The Lord’s Word is clear, His judgment certain, and His warning irrevocable.
